Set up your profile and add a profile pic

All Navitas-Professional students and teachers have a profile in Moodle (the 'My Classes' area of the student portal) to help familiarise classmates. By default, only your name and residential suburb are shown to your peers. You can upload a photograph, some information about yourself and list of interests for your classmates and teachers to see in the student portal. 

Once you are in "My Classes", click on your username in the top-right corner of the screen. A drop-down menu will apear, click on Profile.

 

From the "Profile" page, in the "User details" section, click on "Edit Profile".

 

In the Edit profile screen, scroll down the page and fill in the description and photo sections. You will not be able to edit some fields, such as your name and email address, but you can edit your location information if you are uncomfortable with displaying it.

For example, if your location says "Coogee, Sydney" and you would like it to be less specific, you may change it to "Sydney" or  "NSW", but you cannot leave the location field entirely blank.

Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Update profile' when you've finished.
